Yamadera Basho Museum - Haiku Contest

So delighted to have my haiku published on the Yamadera Basho Museum website as part of selected Haiku for this year's Yamadera Basho Haiku Competition

The Museum focuses on the life of Matsuo Bashō (1644–1694) who perfected the art of haiku, a form of poetry very dear to my heart and which regularly influences my aesthetic and way of thinking.

Originals of Basho's own work are regularly displayed at the museum...I need to go there...
